Mary Mary Season 2


THEY ARE BACK! Our favorite female gospel duo is back to reality t.v with their hit show "Mary Mary"  If you thought season 1 was great, hold on to your seats because season 2 is already proving to be filled with more music, more family and more DRAMA.


At the start of episode 1, we find the "Marys" preparing for a series of performances while their stylist/sister affectionately known as "Goo Goo" and manager Mitch scurry to get their arrangements and wardrobe together. When things seem to be going smoothly, wardrobe issues and fatigue threaten to derail everything. Despite all of the obstacles, Tina and Erica press forward and give their audiences amazing performances which is what makes us love and appreciate them. If you are not familiar with the show, we suggest that you stay tuned and catch it every Thursday night on WE TV!

What do you get when you put four power house performers together in one arena? You get an amazing show that will leave you completely breathless! I had the pleasure of seeing Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp, Israel Houghton and Kirk Franklin perform live at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut last month and could not believe the amazing show that my $50 afforded me. My expectations were that each man would have their own set and perform 2 or 3 of their hit songs for the crowd before we were dismissed. BET's Newest Reality TV Show

BET has caught the Christian reality TV bug! The Sheards is the lastest reality show based on Christians and is proving to be a hit for the network. As we all know, Mary Mary spearheaded the movement with the WE TV show Mary Mary. Preachers Wives and Preachers Daughters are two other shows that have emerged. The Sheards stars gospel powerhouse Karen Clark Sheard of the Clark Sisters and her equally talented daughter Kierra "KiKi" Sheard who is working diligently with her brother/producer J. Drew Sheard to take her career to the next level. The show highlights the family dynamics and the tensions that can arise when people mix business with personal. It also shows the very "real" love that the family has for one another and the support that comes with that kind of love! The show airs every Sunday night at 8pm est.
