Shine on JUS10H!!

Last night's display of fashion and craft was none other than phenomenal! From the start of the show to the very end, guests were captivated and enamored by the quality and beauty of the JUS10H brand and left feeling impressed and inspired by what they had just experienced.

The show opened with an introduction by the company's CEO and host for the evening, Justin Haynes, who thanked several people for there support, particularly his mother Pastor Gwen Haynes who I must say was looking radiant in her hunter green, 2-piece ensemble! Others thanked included hairstylists from Masters Hair Salon in Springfield, make-up artists Carlos Martinez and Maria Sanchez, set designer Carmen Mason May, and several more. The location was intimate and cozy and Justin chose it because he stated that he wanted guests to have a more up close and personal experience with the clothing. Lastly, he announced that there would be over 102, hand sewn pieces displayed under the categories of Summer, Transitional, and Fall.

Music was provided by Music Director, DJ Rell, who set the atmosphere with theme appropriate music! With an uptempo tune, guests were ushered into the first season, SUMMER! If I had to come up with one phrase to describe the Summer collection, I would have to say "fun and flashy" The bright colors combined with a variety of bold prints definitely represented the fun and flashy nature of the summer season! My favorite look out of this collection was the yellow, sleeveless top with the light blue patches and polka dot sash belt, coupled with the bold red skirt with matching patches. I love this look because it is elegant yet easy-going, lovely yet laid back. It represents how a woman can maintain her sophistication and sexiness during the summer without being overly revealing. Great job on this one!!

Here are some of the other pieces from the summer line

As we moved into the next phase of the show, the music shifted to a more mellow tune that matched the clothing that followed. If I had to sum up the transitional line, I would say "soft and sophisticated". The look of this line relied more on the use of pastels and floral prints. The two pieces below struck me because floral prints can appear excessive on some designs but these two make a bold statement without the excess!

My top two pieces of this section are the pastel pink sweater dress and the light blue, 2-piece suit with the denim ribbon-like patterns. These designs are clean and can be worn at work, church, and anywhere else that calls for sophistication and class!

The Fall collection brought in thicker materials such as leather which made my classification of this collection easy "sleek and sassy!!" The colors were more on the cool side as expected when considering the nature of the season. Browns, denims, with hints of pastels and brights is the theme for this collection. I had a hard time deciding on one piece that I liked above the others. There were so many to choose from so I decided to  display my top 7!
