Taking Flight with JUS10H!

Fashion designer and CEO of JUS10H, Justin Haynes, has done it again with his amazing fashion show "SKYE: Your Style Flight to Fashion" Pre-Spring Show! Gospel Beat had the pleasure of attending another well crafted fashion show put on by Mr. Haynes and left feeling good and with some additions to our wardrobes.

The mood was calm and the atmosphere was set for an exciting evening with music provided by DJ Rell. The show was hosted by Ayanna Crawford of the "The Ayanna Crawford Show" and Abdul-Rahmaan I. Muhammad of the Dream Chasers Network who were both garbed in JUS10H apparel, Ayanna in a stunning yellow ensemble with JUS10H's signature patches and patterns flowing down the center and Abdul in a sophisticated light blue jacket with neutral and earth toned patches on the sides.

Justin opened the show with a heartfelt dedication to the woman who helped him launch his brand and fashion career, affectionately known as "Miss Jessie", and was followed by greetings from various community representatives
Justin and Miss Jessie Daniels
who acknowledged the work that JUS10H does to impact the community, particularly the young adults and children. After Dream Studios took to the stage with a Black History Month inspired dance routine, we were ready to take flight and boy did we do just that! The creative introduction gave the audience the feeling of being aboard a plane in preparation for take off. The energetic music brought us back to reality and we were emerged into the children's zone where bright colors met striking prints and sent the audience into a tailspin. The children's spring collection could be summed up as bold, colorful and fun! The girls were so adorable in their skirts, dresses and jumpsuits all with JUS10H signature stripes, patterns and patches. The boys hit the runway in various bright and bold colors and patterns that were certainly one of a kind. It was a pleasure to see the children strutting their stuff with confidence!

Before the next fashion segment, the audience met "Mother Dis" a comedienne from CT who brought the comic relief and fashion advice. One of her most memorable pieces of advice was "don't draw your eyebrows on"!

The next segment of the evening involved the teen and  adult collection where Justin presented an array of styles, colors and designs for all shapes and sizes. Some of my favorites were the floral print, short-sleeved pocket dress, the light blue, checkered print vest, and the two-piece, black suit with JUS10H signature patches. All of the pieces exemplified sophistication and class and the models did an excellent job showcasing the clothing. Model, Classy Bryant, stood out with her grace and elegance and worked the runway with "first CLASS"!

Overall the show was "seamless" and I was pleased to make my way through the crowd of shoppers to purchase a few dresses. JUS10H most certainly took Gospel Beat and the other attendees on a flight of a lifetime and I for one am looking forward to the next trip! Stay Tuned!
