Kingdom Fire: Hee Sun Lee!!



In My City Records has a female artist named HeeSun Lee that is straight Kingdom fire. My daughter is 11 and wants to rap just like her daddy so I went on a mission to find Christian female rappers. This was a difficult task since there aren't many and what I found really didn't blow me away. I did find some gems like Florida group Rhema Soul's Butta P or Blanca from Group One Crew, but HeeSun Lee is in a league of her own. I was blown away by her ability to put words together over infectious beats. HeeSun Lee is fire and her skills rival Nikki Minaj's. With female rappers like HeeSun Lee, Butta P and Blanca, I was able to show my daughter that there are female rappers standing up and spitting straight heat for the Kingdom.

The King's Men Tour

What do you get when you put four power house performers together in one arena? You get an amazing show that will leave you completely breathless! I had the pleasure of seeing Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp, Israel Houghton and Kirk Franklin perform live at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut last month and could not believe the amazing show that my $50 afforded me. My expectations were that each man would have their own set and perform 2 or 3 of their hit songs for the crowd before we were dismissed. I was pleasantly surprised that the show lasted 2+ hours and is easily classified as one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life!! All 4 performers were on stage at the same time for the majority of the show, supporting and singing background for each other. To me this demonstrated unity and humility because each of them is at the level in their career where they could demand their own spotlighted segment.
