God's Lives Matter by Gary Shepard
Shkitzo
Shkitzo is what you call a fire spitter. He starts with a straightforward and familiar flow as if he is on cruise control. He then comes in full throttle with a fast-paced, staccato flow that forces the listener to concentrate in order to keep up. Shkitzo touches upon government corruption and the lack of concern for the law. He also touches on how the church is spiritually sleeping as these crimes against humanity occur.
Johnny Lavid
Very talented brother with multiple gifts, delivers a strong warning to listeners about the evil of this present world. He outlines the truth behind spiritual warfare and connects it directly to the topic at hand: police brutality and murdering of people of color. He takes his flow to the next level by incorporating his first language, Spanish, into the mix.
Rock Weilla Brown
ends the song well by touching on the history of the 1st murder and cleverly brings us in the present state that we live in. He provides a historical and biblical perspective that ties in the themes and messages of the first three rappers and concludes the matter by proclaiming that "Jesus" lives matter, hence "God's Lives Matter"!
There are many groups of people in the world and whether it be black lives, white lives, or police lives...ALL LIVES MATTER! We must realize that all life comes from God himself now and forever.
Stay tuned! This is only the beginning for this movement. There is so much more to come. Gospel Beat Entertainment is doing great things and you don't want to miss out. God Bless!
