BET has caught the Christian reality TV bug! The Sheards is the lastest reality show based on Christians and is proving to be a hit for the network. As we all know, Mary Mary spearheaded the movement with the WE TV show Mary Mary. Preachers Wives and Preachers Daughters are two other shows that have emerged. The Sheards stars gospel powerhouse Karen Clark Sheard of the Clark Sisters and her equally talented daughter Kierra "KiKi" Sheard who is working diligently with her brother/producer J. Drew Sheard to take her career to the next level. The show highlights the family dynamics and the tensions that can arise when people mix business with personal. It also shows the very "real" love that the family has for one another and the support that comes with that kind of love! The show airs every Sunday night at 8pm est.
Dear Soul, What is DNA? According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine: DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the hereditary material in humans and almost all other organisms. I’m glad you asked… David, former king of Israel and a man after God’s own heart, informs us in Psalm 51:5 that as humans, we were shaped or formed in iniquity or wickedness and conceived in sin (immorality, transgression, or evil). In other word...

The song features gospel hip hop artist, Lecrae, and her oldest daughter, Krista Campbell. Better known for her work as one half of the sister duo Mary Mary, Erica announced last year her desire to do some solo work which resulted her first solo release "A Little More Jesus", an uptempo inspirational tune that highlights the need for Jesus especially in times of trouble. "Help" takes a much more melo tone and in it Erica cries out for help as she illustrates the many troubles that a person goes through. Her daughter joins her on the hook, delivering a powerful yet simple message "help"!! The video effectively captures the mood and tone of the song and shows Erica dressed in black against a black backdrop as if to represent her sense of mourning. The songs clearly holds special meaning to Erica wh...
