Marvin Sapp's New Book!


Singer, songwriter, pastor and now AUTHOR Marvin Sapp has a new relationship book out entitled "Marvin's Motivational Moments: Relationship thoughts on a 90-day Journey". The book takes readers on a 90-day  journey where they will evaluate and work to improve their relationships by improving themselves. What do you get when you put four power house performers together in one arena? You get an amazing show that will leave you completely breathless! I had the pleasure of seeing Donnie McClurkin, Marvin Sapp, Israel Houghton and Kirk Franklin perform live at the XL Center in Hartford, Connecticut last month and could not believe the amazing show that my $50 afforded me. My expectations were that each man would have their own set and perform 2 or 3 of their hit songs for the crowd before we were dismissed. I was pleasantly surprised that the show lasted 2+ hours and is easily classified as one of the best shows I have ever seen in my life!! All 4 performers were on stage at the same time for the majority of the show, supporting and singing background for each other. BET's Newest Reality TV Show

BET has caught the Christian reality TV bug! The Sheards is the lastest reality show based on Christians and is proving to be a hit for the network. As we all know, Mary Mary spearheaded the movement with the WE TV show Mary Mary. Preachers Wives and Preachers Daughters are two other shows that have emerged. The Sheards stars gospel powerhouse Karen Clark Sheard of the Clark Sisters and her equally talented daughter Kierra "KiKi" Sheard who is working diligently with her brother/producer J. Drew Sheard to take her career to the next level. The show highlights the family dynamics and the tensions that can arise when people mix business with personal. It also shows the very "real" love that the family has for one another and the support that comes with that kind of love! The show airs every Sunday night at 8pm est.
